How do you eat broccoli? I almost always have them in my salad. I mean I couldn’t think of any other ways..!! So I saw this post and had to immediately try! And wow it was really really good!
Ingredients
- 1 medium sized broccoli (approx. 150-200g)
- 1 strip bacon
- 3 tablespoons potato starch
- 30g shredded cheese (that melts)
- a pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Chop the green part of broccoli into small (about half an inch) pieces. Slice the stem into smaller pieces. Cut the bacon into small pieces as well.
- Put everything in a bowl and mix well.
- Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil or olive oil in a pan, and cook like a pancake for 3 minutes with a lid (heat on low to medium). Turn it over and cook without a lid until golden brown.
Notes
- Use cheese that melts with heat. Otherwise, it would not look and taste the same.
- It is better to cook 2 smaller pieces as turning one large piece over can be very difficult…!
