This is a typical cabbage salad we get in Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants. It’s simple yet so addictive! A perfect mouth refresher especially between fatty meat. At home, it goes well with pretty much anything. Enjoy!
Ingredients (Servings 2)
- 3-4 leaves (approximately 120g) of cabbage
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chicken powder
- 1 teaspoon grated garlic
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of sesame seeds
Instructions
- Tear the cabbage with your hands and put them in a plastic bag.
- Put all the remaining ingredients in the bag and shake it until everything is well mixed.
- That’s it! Serve on a plate.
Notes
- Hand tear is the key here. The dressing gets more incorporated when hand torn.
- If you prefer, you can also mix and toss in a large bowl.
